Smooth operators...

Nice to have a little help. Here's a Georgetown chemist /PHD science educator and a professional photographer / graphic artist / fireman / chef / do gooder ( both surfers and shapers ) shaping the port side inner hull foam like a 44ft. surf board.

Yes, that brings back memories, and having some willing friends along is always a big help!

Allen - I have also just sent out a new and updated Plan Book for all the F-44 builders, in which quite a few pages have been resorted and renumbered for a better flow sequence. Now also printed in color on a Laser printer so quality is now extremely good.

Allen,

I thought I share some information I had obtain from Henny (www.fram.nl)

1) the inside edge between foam strips route a bevel so that you can fill in with microballoon/Epoxy. This will create a seal to prevent resin from seeping to the outer side. Also, allows RI

2) Pre-drill your holes thru your plank striping (stringers) this will help you screw down your foam from the back side

Allen,

What are the dimensions of your building? Does the boat plans mention the total height from keel to top of the bridge?

Thanks
