The finished cabin door

I installed a carbon fiber door handle and then bonded the window to the door frame.  As a subliminal message to would be thieves, I machined an aluminum "Bullet" end cap for the door handle.

curious about the seal between the cabin door and door frame, and also about the latching mechanism. when it slides closed, how will it seal? what sort of latch are you planning?

I haven't worked out the latch mechanism just yet..... It may just be an external barn door locking hasp with a big stainless steel pad lock.
