inspector tang

Here's Tang, the chief mold inspector, looking over the starboard side mold.

He keeps red tags under his wing and sometimes forces me to rework things....He also indescrimanately destroys things just for fun.

Thanks for your earlier resposnse. My brother and I are each start F22's in Seattle (#58 and#61). Another couple questions: are you using Silvertip, did you consider Phase Two, are you doing anymore infusion or vacuum bagging?
Thanks Andrew.

Yes, I'm using System Three Silver tip. The guys at fiberglass supply recommended it and I'm happy with it. I am particularly pleased by it's absence of "blush". As for Vac bagging and infusion.....I really enjoy both processes. However, Ian F makes a good point, it's easy to get unnecessarily distracted by the details of it all. I vac- bag all my bulkheads and will infuse critical components like boards, rudder blades and side webs that have multiple layers of glass. Otherwise, a roller, peel ply and lots of gloves moves things along nicely....oh and dig my automatic vac rig that I built in a previous post.
